Md. Nasir Uddin is the founder of the Global Climate Change Foundation (GCCF), a leading international nonprofit organization focused on climate action, youth leadership, and social change. Established in 2019, GCCF operates in 167 countries and collaborates with 115 UN-recognized organizations, advocating for global sustainability and environmental justice. Nasir has been instrumental in driving impactful projects and has received significant recognition, including being nominated for an Honorary Doctorate in 2024 by the World Human Rights Protection Commission for his contributions to addressing the climate crisis.
In addition to his work at GCCF, Nasir is an experienced educator, serving as a Physics lecturer at various institutions, including Sristy Central College and Amin Model Town College. He has also worked as a trainer in Spoken English and Pre-IELTS courses. Nasir is currently pursuing a PhD in Green innovation and Sustainable Business Strategy at Multimedia University, Malaysia.
His accomplishments extend to international conferences and leadership roles, including serving as Session Chairman for the International Conference on Climate Change (ICCC), speaking at COP27, and being nominated for MIT’s Innovation Leadership Bootcamp. He is also an active member of IUCN and has participated in numerous Model United Nations events.
